NYIF analysts complete structured training in financial statement analysis, valuation, and portfolio construction. Members develop written investment theses and formally pitch ideas to an internal investment committee before capital is allocated.
Students also participate in live webinars with industry professionals, gaining exposure to real-world investing practices. The program emphasizes discipline, critical thinking, and responsible capital allocation.
About us
The National Youth Investment Fund is a student-led nonprofit dedicated to making finance and investing education more accessible to high school students. Through structured training, hands-on portfolio experience, and mentorship, NYIF helps students build real-world financial literacy, analytical skills, and confidence in capital markets, regardless of background or prior experience.
Our Curriculum
Our mission is to expand access to financial education by reaching motivated high school students who may not otherwise have exposure to investing, markets, or professional finance.
Through outreach, structured training, and hands-on portfolio experience, NYIF prepares students not only to understand capital markets, but also to build the confidence, discipline, and communication skills needed for college and the professional world.
